NOTES

MP3Tag has only been tested under Linux; specifically, under
distributions based on RedHat Linux 5.2 and RedHat Linux 6.x.  I see no
reason why it shouldn't work fine under other Linux distributions, and
on other Unix platforms, but it has not been tested.  All feedback
welcomed on the success of building and running MP3Tag on other
platforms.  The Makefile may need to be edited for this purpose.


GENERAL USAGE

MP3Tag was written simply to serve a purpose - I had loads of MP3 files
which were named like "Artist - Title.mp3", but had no ID3 tag.  MP3Tag
generates an ID3 tag for each MP3 file by parsing the filename it is
provided with.

i.e. mp3tag "Artist - Title.mp3" will modify "Artist - Title.mp3" so
that the ID3 tag shows the artist as "Artist" and the title as "Title".
