<P>一、背景材料：<BR> (1)据有关部门统计，我国现有的12亿人口中，14岁以下的少年儿童及婴幼儿有3.8亿，其中城市儿童8000万人，农村儿童3亿人，这是玩具的一块大市场。随着人们对休闲、娱乐需求的增加，以及人们对玩具功能观念的改变，玩具的消费群体也正在迅速扩大。玩具已不再是儿童的专利，越来越多高档、新颖的玩具开始成为成年人的休闲、娱乐用品。<BR> (2)有关调查表明：城市儿童年均玩具消费仅45元，而农村儿童年均玩具消费不足15元。城市中年人玩具年均消费仅16元，而农村成年人玩具人均年消费基本上为零。这种极低的消费金额反差，恰好反映出我国玩具消费市场所拥有的难以估量的发展潜力。<BR> (3)据推测：随着城市居民收入的提高，家长对孩子进行智力开发极为重视。而给孩子买玩具，是家长表达爱心、对孩子进行智力开发的重要方式。因而，集知识趣味、动手动脑于一体的玩具迎合了城市家长们望子成龙的心理。有44％的城市消费者对电子型玩具情有独钟，36％的城市消费者认为智能型玩具更有吸引力，20％的城市消费者则青睐于高档的毛线、布制装饰类玩具。而农村消费对象仍然以传统的玩具类型为主，46％的农村消费者愿意购买电动型玩具，28％的农村消费者愿意购买拼装型玩具，26％的农村消费者愿意购买中、低档次的毛绒、布制类玩具。此外，有62％的被访者愿意选择既能充分发挥孩子们的想象力、创造力和动手能力，挖掘隐藏在孩子们内心深处的潜力，同时也适合成人轻松、高雅的娱乐情趣的玩具。人们愿意消费玩具吗?64％的被访问者表示如有条件，喜欢并愿意。<BR> (4)调查反映，有42％的消费者认为玩具应该向娱乐性发展，39％的消费者认为应该向教育性发展，19％的消费者认为应该向装饰性发展。由此看来，各厂商不仅要看到玩具市场的巨大潜力，还要调整观念，提高水准，只有这样才能在未来的玩具市场上得以立足。适合自己的玩具可以考虑购买，其中有33％的成年人认为自己喜欢并愿意玩玩具。目前适合于成年人的玩具太少，他们建议多开发些适合成人的玩具消费品。<BR> (5)经调查表明：到目前为止，我国还未出现专门生产成人玩具的企业，市场上也鲜见成人玩具专柜。1998年，上海生产的7000多个品种的的玩具几乎都是以儿童为对象；北京玩具市场上的儿童玩具品种达3000多个，成人玩具则寥若晨星。<BR> (6)越来越多的成年人已开始钟情于玩具(其所占比例为被调查人群的28％)，这说明玩具的销售对象正在从孩子扩大到成年人，针对成人研制和开发的玩具，已逐渐成为玩具市场的新热点。据业内人士分析，和儿童消费群体相比，成年消费群体更具购买玩具的经济实力。因此，我国以数亿成人的玩具消费市场蕴藏着巨大的商机。<BR> (7)与我国成人玩具市场尚处于空白点的同时，在美国和日本，成人玩具的成功开发已经给玩具商带来了丰厚的回报。在美国，早就有了成人玩具生产的专业公司，其40％以上的玩具是专门为成人设计制造的。本世纪初制造的世界经典玩具--泰迪熊的美国金耳扣公司，最近研制了当年的几种泰迪熊，一上市便被消费者抢购一空：世界著名的火车模型制造商梅克林公司不久前推出了30年代的飞机模型，其昂贵的售价并没有使众多的消费者望而却步；近两年在日本市场畅销不衰的电子鸡、狗玩具，使许许多多童心未泯的成年人惊喜不已。玩具的开发和销售开发面向成人，是世界玩具业的新热点。<BR> (8)通过采访了解到：31％的被访中年入则常常钟情于消遣性、轻度运动型玩具，因为这一年龄阶段的人生活负担最重，最需要适度的放松与运动。与成年男性相比，33％的被访成年女性则更喜爱一些拿在手里能把玩、摆在家里能起装饰作用的玩具；16％的被访老年人则表示他们喜欢极具温情的小动物玩具、娃娃玩具，不仅能使老人们积存在心底的怀旧情结得以充分的排解，又能陪伴他们安享晚年。</P>
