5.2:
  Remove line limit (effectively, actually make it INT_MAX/2).
  Modify all prompts/arrays to dynamic length.
    Both the above will be done with struct Line { text_ptr text; int len }
    and struct Line_buff { text_ptr text; int len, max }.
  Change skip offsets to int, to accomodate longer search strings.
  Searching for NUL as first char causes SIGSEGV.
  Stop block expanding tabs when line becomes too long.
  Copying block doesn't check for long line (see Frank's defect 4/9 msg).
    Above three will be fixed with the Line changes.

Make ruler part of the file, add tabs (smart = physical, fixed = logical).
Incorporate cursor cross into ruler?  (Display optimisation.)

SHL: Allow languages to have custom indent and margin (and other?) settings?
      If so, allow definition of a language without highlighting.
     Have language-specific context help?
     Make "pattern" optional.
     Add "lines" to highlight complete lines (modify regx).
     Wild/regx keywords? Just expand sets (mov[bwl] -> movb movw movl)?
     Tags setting (HTML: "Tags < >" "Tags </ >" "Tags a b font table").
     Allow custom color keywords ("Prepro green" "Prepro isspace").

Undo!

Tags ((Exuberant) ctags, Global).

Add word sort (only sort letters/digits, ignore everything else).
Option to remove duplicates (either key or entire line; option to match case).

"Column" mode, for working with tab-delimited and CSV files (or any other
delimiter character, possibly even specify column widths on the command line).
Columns will be sized according to the largest value, (Back)Tab will move to the
(previous or) next column. Deflate tabs for tab-delimited, but I guess CSV and
others can still have tabs (no, maybe not).

Non-US keyboards sometimes revert to using US keys (need more info).

Linux: have another look at xterm keyboard, update help and config.

Win32: use API to provide localisation defaults?
       pipe output from another window into an existing TDE?

Set left/right margins from current line?
Have WordRight move to EOL/EOF if no next word?
RemoveLines function (or option to ReplaceString) to search for text and
 delete lines containing it?

A recursive macro that defines a search should subsequently repeat the search.
Allow macros to be named ("mymacro macro ..." "a+0 mymacro").
Consider MacroMark in a different window.

Global markers (sets file as well)?
Should PreviousPosition sync (useful with diff)? Other markers?

Window list should be able to sort by visibility (current first), hidden
 (current last), read-only, scratch, modified, and path; initial order should
 be internal list order.
Window order function to arrange windows?
Should SizeWindow only size necessary windows?  Option to size all?

"Folding" lines - hide lines of matching indentation (cf. FED).
Wrap long lines - lines will not go off-screen, but wrap to the next screen
 line (cf. vi?, emacs?).

Tweak error message (and cwd) display from dialogs?
Display initial prompt in different color (to indicate it will be deleted)?

Pretty print? (case insensitive languages convert keywords to the same case as
 given in the syntax highlighting file).

Recognise screen size changes after a shell/loading workspace.

Block sum: should replace strtol with my own routine, handling decimals,
            commas and suffixes (k = 1000, K = 1024, m = 1e6, M = 2e20).

Reformat binary line length? (FormatText - use current; FormatParagraph - ask.)
Hex mode?

Regx: Improve speed? Add bounds ("r{min,max}")?
      Fix potential replacement problems using '$', '>' and '>>'.
      Fix potential stack overflow.

Custom backup extension? Numbered backups?
