包在开孔尿烷泡沫芯(UFC)上的导电布由于其开孔结构和柔韧的导电织物(图1C示),需要的压力最小。所以,结合面的接触阻抗受压力变化的影响极小,能够保持原来的屏蔽效能始终不变。导电布上的保护层可提高耐磨性并允许摩擦。生产时使尿烷泡沫芯与其外织物融合,从而使此材料可制成各种形状,叶片结构密封衬垫,比如C形衬垫,可以有更低的压缩率。<br>
D形橡胶条(内部填充镍/石墨材料)(DET),也有很低的压缩率,这主要是由于设计的几何尺寸。然而,压缩量的微小变化也能引起屏蔽效能的极大改变。<br>
铍铜指形簧片 (BCF),比UFC大约需五倍多的压力。指形簧片的屏蔽效能受压力影响不大,但机械冲击(损坏簧片)是不容忽视的,特别是簧片较长时。<br>
蒙乃尔金属丝网(硅橡胶芯) (SET)具有较高的压缩率(为UFC的8.75倍)。压缩永久形变会影响其屏蔽效能,因此也是一个必须考虑的因素。蒙乃尔金属丝网(聚氯丁海绵芯)(NSP)(为UFC的10倍以上)存在同样的问题。<br>
