That is it should provide its own locking and event notification. </p> <p> There is a naming convention: <ul> <li> data access follows bean conventions: getTypeName(), getSchema() <li> resource access methods follow Collections conventions reader(), writer(), etc... <li> overrrides are all protected and follow factory conventions: createWriter(), createAppend(), createFeatureSource(),
