It allows free use of Qt Free Edition for runningsoftware developed by others, and free use of Qt Free Edition fordevelopment of free/Open Source software. There is <ahref="http://www.trolltech.com/qpl/">more information about the QPL</a> atthe Trolltech web site.<p> Note that the Qt/Embedded Free Edition is <b>not</b> distributedunder the QPL, but under the <a href="gpl.html">GNU General PublicLicense (GPL)</a>.<p>For development non-free/proprietary software, the Qt ProfessionalEdition is available.
