Installing NumPy, ScientificPython and sample toolbox NetCDFTools.tbx
1. Install NumPy. You can download the latest version from http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=1369&package_id=1351 or use Numeric-24.2.win32-py2.4.exe for Python 2.4.
2. Install ScientificPython. You can download the latest version from http://starship.python.net/~hinsen/ScientificPython/ or use ScientificPython-2.4.9.win32-py2.4.exe for Python 2.4.
3. Copy netcdf.dll in C:\WINDOWS\system32 folder. You can get the latest version of netcdf.dll from http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/software/netcdf/ .
4. Copy NetCDFTools.tbx and GetNetCDFVariableMinMax.py in a local folder.


How to use Get NetCDF Variable Min Max tool
1. Start ArcMap or ArcCatalog.
2. Show ArcToolBox window.
3. Add toolbox NetCDFTools.tbx.
4. Expand toolbox and open tool Get NetCDF Variable Min Max.
5. Type the name in the Input netCDF File, or alternatively, click the browse button to navigate to the input file.
6. Type in the variable name.
7. Click OK.
