</p>
<p>Java Message Service（JMS）是使应用程序组件可以创建、发送、接收和读取消息的一个消息传递标准。它使 J2EE 组件与遗留系统系统之间的分布式通信成为可能，从而提供松散耦合的、可靠的异步消息传递服务。</p>

<b>Java IDL</b>
</p>
<p>Java Interface Definition Language（IDL）为 Java 平台增加了 Common Object Request Broker Architecture（CORBA）能力，提供了基于标准的互操作性和连接性。Java IDL 使基于 Web 的分布式 Java 应用程序可以使用行业标准 IDL 和由 Object Management Group 定义的 Internet Inter-ORB Protocol（IIOP）透明地调用远程网络服务上的操作。运行时组件包含 Java ORB，以便用 IIOP 通信进行分布式计算。</p>

<b>简单对象访问协议</b>
</p>
<p>简单对象访问协议（SOAP）是类似 CORBA 的 IIOP 的一个连线协议（wire protocol），用于运行在不同操作系统上的、使用不同的技术和不同的编程语言的应用程序之间的通信。它是一个基于 XML 的协议，帮助通过 HTTP 跨 Internet 调用应用程序，甚至调用应用程序中的一个对象或者方法。因为 HTTP 被广泛使用，并通常被防火墙所允许，因此有机会通过防火墙进行 SOAP 调用，IIOP 和 Remote Method Invocation（RMI）则不具备这种便利。</p>
<p>
<b>Java Connector Architecture</b>
</p>
<p>J2EE Connector Architecture（JCA）为许多现有应用服务器和 EIS 之间的连接问题提供了 Java 解决方案。通过使用 JCA，EIS 厂商不再为每一种应用服务器定制自己的产品。遵守 JCA 的应用服务器厂商不再需要在添加新 EIS 连接时增加定制代码。</p>

<b>Java Native Interface</b>
</p>
<p>Java Native Interface（JNI）使在 Java 虚拟机（JVM）中运行的 Java 代码可以与用其他语言（如 C、C++ 和汇编语言）编写的应用程序进行互操作。例如，可以用 JNI 为常规 C++ 应用程序创建 Java 包装器。</p>
<p>
<b>对象映射工具</b>
</p>
<p>用对象映射工具直接访问遗留系统业务逻辑和数据库层。不使用现有的遗留系统接口，而是直接访问底层。用这些工具创建访问遗留系统功能的代理对象，并以面向对象的方式使它们可用。这些工具通常比屏幕搜刮器（screen scraper）更有效，因为它们不取决于由现有遗留系统接口生成的格式。</p>
<p>
<b>Off-board 服务器</b>
</p>
<p>off-board 服务器是作为遗留系统代理执行的服务器。它用遗留系统支持的自定义协议与遗留系统通信。并用行业标准协议与外部应用程序进行通信。</p>
<p>
<b>屏幕搜刮器（终端模拟器）</b>
</p>
<p>屏幕搜刮器组件模拟大型机终端。屏幕搜刮器像普通用户那样登录到大型机，向大型机发送请求，并截获基于字符的大型机响应。因此，它对于 CUI 和 GUI 应用程序都很有用。屏幕搜刮器的问题是，即使应用程序的行为或者用户界面有很小的改变，都有可能使屏幕搜刮器停止工作。</p>
<p>如果遗留系统没有开放任何其他编程接口，并且源代码也不可用时，这种情况下则适合使用屏幕搜刮器方法。</p>
