These settings involved various server software, including the NCSA, the Apache, the CERN, the Netscape, and the NT WebSite. Because there are many settings, some of which are likely to change with each new version of the software, I will not go into detail on the configuration of each. I will note, however, some of the more important settings, which you are likely to want to ensure are correctly set either by you or your technical team. UNIX servers are configured via files containing directives that control basic settings, such as authorization and paths.
