In our sample data set of 1472 observations with seven fields as inputs/outputs, the NGO ran for over six hours before it converged on an answer. This process is clearly computationally intensive, but the effectiveness of genetic algorithms combinatorial search capabilities with neural networks is truly great. During a run, the NGO provides you the ability to view the status of what is happening, view the evolving population, see the configurations and the statistics of the top ten networks.
