DART, which is DoubleClick's proprietary ad targeting and reporting technology, was once available only to affiliate sites of the DoubleClick Network. However, the company recently began providing its DART Service to other sites. The newly enhanced DART technology aggregates information, voluntarily offered by the user, in a website's database against DoubleClick's other targeting criteria, such as company name and geographic location. The DART data that is being captured may be used in conjunction with a website's own data.
