MatchLogic also has expanded to develop a marketing service. The new service, called DeliverE, currently has half a million users in its database, and MatchLogic expects that number to grow to five million. The basic premise behind DeliverE is one of sending e-mail to users who have opted in and soliciting information about their lifestyles and interests. MatchLogic offers a suite of services that enable advertisers and agencies to outsource their Internet advertising campaigns. It performs as an ad insertion network for advertisers and agencies, which pay up to $4 per thousand impressions for the company to place ads. It also measures their effectiveness and delivers real-time reports. These communication products are based on individual profiles generated from customer database information.
