The function shall place inthis buffer the name of the interface with index <i>ifindex</i>.</p></blockquote><h4><a name="tag_03_271_04"></a>RETURN VALUE</h4><blockquote><p>If <i>ifindex</i> is an interface index, then the function shall return the value supplied in <i>ifname</i>, which points to abuffer now containing the interface name.
