The Debugger (running on the Host) and the SerialICE Kernel (running on the Target) communicate via
a standard RS-232 serial link or hardware wiggler.  It is possible to configure the
SerialICE Kernel to use either a standard UART (or DUART), or LSI
Logic's SerialICE Port core.  The SerialICE Port core has the advantage
that it takes up no Target board area.
