ntp3-5.88 on SGI Irix 6.2

I have successfully compiled and run xntp3-5.88 on SGI Irix 6.2
using the -n32 libraries, so it will run on R4x00, R8000
and R10000 processors. I'm only using the LOCAL_CLOCK driver

Commands were:
        env CFLAGS=-n32 LDFLAGS=-n32 ./configure
        make
        make install

I needed add $(CFLAGS) to the compilation of version.o in:
        ./ntpdate/Makefile.in
        ./ntpq/Makefile.in
        ./ntptrace/Makefile.in
        ./xntpd/Makefile.in
        ./xntpdc/Makefile.in

version.o: $(xntpd_OBJECTS) ../libntp/libntp.a Makefile
        $(top_srcdir)/scripts/mkversion xntpd @VERSION@
        $(CC) $(CFLAGS) -c version.c
              ^^^^^^^^^
