Here is a detailled description of all email proxy settings in the main config file 'jkproxy.conf'. All of these settings belonging to the email module are prefixed with 'email'.<br><br>

<a name="emailport"><u><b>emailport</b></u></a><br>
Sets which port the email proxy will listen to for incoming connections. Default for a POP3 server is port 110. If the port is already in use the application will abort with an error message during start-up.<br><br><i>Example:</i><br>emailport 110<br><br>
<a name="emailrules"><u><b>emailrules</b></u></a><br>
Defines the email ruler file. The rules in this file will be used to check each incoming message to determine if it is spam or not. The path specification in this setting is relative to the position of 'jkproxy.conf'.<br><br>
<i>Example:</i><br>emailrules mailrules.conf<br>(will search 'mailrules.conf' in the directory where 'jkproxy.conf' is located.)<br><br>

<a name="emailtrash"><u><b>emailtrash</b></u></a><br>
This line sets in which directory all blocked messages are stored. This path is relative to the message directory.<br>
In WIN32 the message directory is equal to the program directory.<br><br>
<i>Example:</i><br>emailtrash blocked\<br>

<a name="emailkeeptrash"><u><b>emailkeeptrash</b></u></a><br>
Sets for how many days a blocked email is stored. The program checks from time to time if a message is older than allowed and deletes it if necessary.<br>

<br>
<a name="emailiprules"><u><b>emailiprules </b> (optional)</u></a><br>
Defines a file with IP rules for the email proxy. This setting can be used to restrict access to the proxy to certain computers. Read <a href="../general/iprules.html">IP rules</a> for more information.<br>
