 SHAREWARE FATOMO:  3-D tomography with fat rays
 
This directory contains a cleaned FATOMO version dating from Oct., 2000, 

This version of FATOMO solves the coupled hypocenter-velocity problem. Travel
times are calculated using a FD modeling of the Eikonal equations developed
by Podvin & Lecomte (Geophys. J. Int., 1991). Model partial derivatives are 
computed using the fat ray concept (Husen & Kissling, Phys. Earth Planet. Int.,
2001). Earthquake relocation is done using grid search.
Compile FATOMO by using the Makefile in the src_code directory.

To plot inversion results by FATOMO using GMT, I recommend the 'tomo2gmt'
program, which can be found on the webpage
