92/12/21 -- Special #pragma's for C++

(1) #pragma inline_depth n
--------------------------

    - when an inline function is called, the function call may be replaced by
      the inline expansion for that function; this may result in calls to
      other inline functions which may also be expanded
    - the pragma is used to set the number of times this inline expansion
      of functions will occur for a call
    - when set to zero, no expansion will occur
    - when set to one, only the original call is expanded
    - when set to two, the original call and the inline functions invoked by
      the original function will be expanded
    - by default, the inline depth is 8
    - no expansion of recursive inline calls occurs unless enabled using
      "#pragma inline_recursion on"


(2) #pragma inline_recursion on
    #pragma inline_recursion off
--------------------------------

    - enables recursive expansion of inline functions, to the depth set by
      "#pragma inline_depth"
    - by default, inline recursion is "off"


(3) #pragma warning msg-no level
    #pragma warning * level
--------------------------------

    - used to reset the level of warning messages
    - level is number from 0 to 9
    - when level is zero, warning becomes an error
    - "msg-no" must be the number of a warning message
    - "*" causes the level to be reset for all warning messages


(4) #pragma initialize [ adjust-1 ... adjust-n ] number
    #pragma initialize [ adjust-1 ... adjust-n ] library
    #pragma initialize [ adjust-1 ... adjust-n ] program

    - used to set the priority at which initialization of static data
      (at file scope) will occur
    - this priority ranges from 0 to 255
    - the larger the number, the later the point at which initialization will
      occur
    - "library" stands for priority 32 and should be used for class libraries
    - "program" stands for priority 64 and is the default priority for
      any compiled code
    - "adjust-1" to "adjust-n" are either "before" or "after" and respectively
      cause the initialization priority to be adjusted down or up by one
    - the IOSTREAM library is initialized at priority 20
    - priorities 0-20 are reserved for the C++ compiler


NOTE: The C++ compiler also supports the "code_seg", "data_seg", and
      "alloc_text" pragmas, identical to MicroSoft
