It would be nice, that simail, allow the creation of diferent templates for "new message", "reply" and "forward" with some macros, like the ones we can use in some others programs like TheBAT! and FOXMAIL. Those templates could be configured in the account properties

A nice feature to add would be a simple way to backup/restore. 

The backup feature would ask you for a backup location and then copy your mailboxes, address book, mail/account settings, etc. to a single file (perhaps ZIP file). 

Then the Restore feature would simply reverse the process. 

This would be a great feature that not a lot of email clients have (at least not without plug-ins, extensions, third party tools, etc.) A big selling point. 

It would also make it easy if you use multiple PCs and want to synch the 2 email clients or if you want to provide someone with a series of emails without having to forward each individual email. 

Something to think about.

1. Have both incoming and outgoing mail filters. 
2. Ability to filter messages based on Address Book nicknames. 
3. Ability to use Regular Expressions. 
4. Ability to redirect and [option] delete messages based on a filter. 
5. Basically implement many of the filter options found in Eudora and Pegasus.

The one thing that disappointed me about the newer versions of Mail Warrior was that each account had a separate folder structure. I much prefer to have a single folder structure that's shared among all email accounts.

Will there be the possibility to put the receivers in groups and then to choose this group as receiver. 

i miss this feature really in mw. now i have to choose every single receiver of a group. why not choose the whole group with one click?

is it possible to add an option (right click on attachment), for deleting only the attachment of an e-mail. somteimes it's important to store the e-mail but not the attachment. this would be a great feature!!! (but separated folder would be the better solution  )

- Mix multiple accounts, may they be POP3 or IMAP 
- Being able to process every incoming email to an external filter program, that might be more powerful than built in filters (e.g. a perl program, like Spamassassin) and getting back the resulting output.
- If new mail arrived and I click on an folder that contains a new message, the list view should scroll automatically down to the new messages (if I have ordered the mails in a way that the newest messages are at the bottom).

but i like the option to store attachments inside the messages (and mailboxes) much better. so therefore i opt for a decision for everyone in the options dialogue to set where the attachments should be stored (i.e. in which folder or inside the mail).

- when downloading mail to an account, automatically switch the folder view to that accounts inbox. 
- on start up, have the default 'mailboxes view' show the user as expanded, but only expanding mail boxes that have unread mail in them

- the accounts with new mail received should "un-collapse" (extract?) automatically, don?t know the word in english. After closing and restarting si.mail, all accounts should be un-collapsed until new mail receives 
- in the mail window, tab should switch from mailbox window to the message window (nachrichtenfenster) to the My Addressbook window (I don?t like my mouse) 
- option of setting default field: to, cc, bcc 

- Are there any plans of adding network abilities to si.mail? I'm using mailwarrior now on three machines, they all have the same shared message folder. This works quite well, except if two computers open mailwarrior at the same time.. sometimes messages get lost. It would be nice to have this possiblilty in a 'safer way'...
