The goal of the Center is to help students, faculty, and executives better understand the growing flow of financial data that affects markets as well as to enable them to participate in the development of new applications of information technology to finance. <!WA4><!WA4><A HREF="http://www.edscenter.utexas.edu/corp/eds.html">EDS</A>, numerous <!WA5><!WA5><A HREF="http://www.edscenter.utexas.edu/corp/index.html">technology sponsors</A>, and Center <!WA6><!WA6><A HREF="http://trustee/index.html"> Trustees </A> from the financial industry have joined together to support a unique educational facility not found on other university campuses.<P>The Director of the Center is <!WA7><!WA7><A HREF="http://people/gau.html">Dr. George W. Gau</A>, Chairman of the <!WA8><!WA8><A HREF="http://bevo.bus.utexas.edu/~finance">Department of Finance</A> in the UT College and Graduate School of Business.
