I have been working with <!WA4><!WA4><!WA4><!WA4><!WA4><!WA4><!WA4><!WA4><!WA4><!WA4><a href="http://www1.biostr.washington.edu/">Jim Brinkley</a>and other members of the<!WA5><!WA5><!WA5><!WA5><!WA5><!WA5><!WA5><!WA5><!WA5><!WA5><a href="http://www1.biostr.washington.edu/DigitalAnatomist.html">Digital Anatomist</a>group in the<!WA6><!WA6><!WA6><!WA6><!WA6><!WA6><!WA6><!WA6><!WA6><!WA6><a href="http://www.biostr.washington.edu/">Dept. of Biological Structure</a>.My research interests are varied, but include computer vision,<!WA7><!WA7><!WA7><!WA7><!WA7><!WA7><!WA7><!WA7><!WA7><!WA7><a href="http://www.cs.washington.edu/research/projects/grail2/www/index.html">computer graphics</a>,<!WA8><!WA8><!WA8><!WA8><!WA8><!WA8><!WA8><!WA8><!WA8><!WA8><a href="http://www.cs.washington.edu/research/projects/ai/www/ai.html">artificial intelligence</a>, user interfaces,and computer music.<h3> Projects </h3>In my current research, I am working on using shape models to findorgan boundaries in magnetic resonance (MR) and computed tomography(CT) images. We started by working with single images, but haveextended our method to handle 3D volume data sets.<h3> Publications </h3><p>Kevin P. Hinshaw and James F.
