Associate Professor Stephanie Forrest </H2>
<HR>

Professor Stephanie Forrest received her Ph.D. in 
Computer and Communication Sciences from the University of 
Michigan in 1985.  Before joining the <!WA1><A HREF = http://www.cs.unm.edu> UNM Computer Science department</A>,
she worked for
Teknowledge Inc. and was a Director's Fellow at the Center for 
Nonlinear Studies, Los Alamos National Laboratory.  She is currently a member
of the <!WA2><A HREF = http://www.santafe.edu> Santa Fe Institute</A> 
science board and external faculty.
Her research interests are parallel adaptive systems, 
including genetic algorithms, classifier 
systems, computational immunology, and emergent computation.
