My primary concerns includespecification techniques for real-time systems, algorithms forguaranteeing stringent timing constraints and understanding thetrade-off between the robustness and response times of time-criticalsystems. The goal is to develop a formal framework for automating theanalysis and synthesis of robust real-time systems. Application areasinclude robot control systems, avionics software and industrialprocess control systems. Funding is being provided by the Office ofNaval Research to develop a highly automated design environment forreal-time systems.

Selected Recent Publications
A. K.
