University Parkway<br>Apt. 12N<br>Baltimore, MD 21210<br><P><address><!WA4><a href="mailto:weiss@cs.jhu.edu">weiss@cs.jhu.edu</a></address><hr><h2> Academic Stuff </h2>I am currently a PhD Student in <!WA5><a href="http://www.cs.jhu.edu/">Computer Science</a>at <!WA6><a href="http://www.jhu.edu/">the Johns Hopkins University</a> in <!WA7><a href = "http://www.charm.net/Baltimore.html">Baltimore, MD</a>.I am blessed with not one, not two, but three advisers, <!WA8><a href="http://www.cs.jhu.edu/~kasif">Simon Kasif</a>,<!WA9><a href="http://www.cs.jhu.edu/~brill">Eric Brill</a>,and <!WA10><a href="http://www.cs.jhu.edu/~yarowsky/">David Yarowsky</a>.While my general interest is in <!WA11><a href="http://www.cs.cmu.edu/Web/Groups/AI/html/repository.html">Artificial Intelligence</a>, the focus of my research ison adaptive methods for Information Retrieval.<P>I've compiled a <!WA12><a href="http://www.cs.jhu.edu/~weiss/ir.html">Survey of Information Retrieval</a> whichlists many different papers, projects, and web sites devoted to various aspects of IR.
