I'm currently taking two classes: <ul> <li> <em>Operating Systems</em> (COM 3360) with <!WA3><a href="http://www.ccs.neu.edu/home/jcasey/">Prof. John Casey</a> <li> <!WA4><a href="http://www.ccs.neu.edu/home/gene/INFO.html">Computer Architecture</a> (COM 3200) with <!WA5><a href="http://www.ccs.neu.edu/home/gene/">Prof. Gene Cooperman</a> <BR> Textbook: <!WA6><a href="http://Literary.COM/mkp/pages/3298">Computer Architecture: A Quantitative Approach, Second Edition</a> by <!WA7><a href="http://HTTP.CS.Berkeley.EDU/~pattrsn/">David A. Patterson</a> and <!WA8><a href="http://ee.stanford.edu/ee/faculty/Hennessy_John.html">John L. Hennessy</a>. </ul> I'm also working as a research assistant for <!WA9><a href="http://www.ccs.neu.edu/home/lieber/">Prof. Karl Lieberherr</a>; my current project is <!WA10><a href="http://www.ccs.neu.edu/home/lieber/Demeter-and-Java.html">Demeter/Java</a>. I still work <EM>for</EM> them, from my apartment in <!WA18><a href="http://www.boston.com">Boston, Massachusetts</a>, in my <!WA19><A HREF="http://www.comedia.com/Hot/jargon_3.0/JARGON_C/COPFRETM.HTML">copious free time</A>. <P></P> I'm a little wary of the growing <!WA20><a href="about:mozilla">cult of Netscape</a>. But hey, I use it too, and <!WA21><a href="about:jwz">Jamie Zawinski</a> is a cool guy. After all, he also wrote <!WA22><a href="http://www.xemacs.org/">XEmacs</a>.
