My professionalinterests include software architecture, software engineering, <!WA6><A HREF="http://www.ifs.univie.ac.at/ISOO/overview.html">object-oriented</A> analysis, design, and programming, and enterprise data modeling. (In fact, I put myself through college as a data model.) <P>I am pursuing a Master's degree in the <!WA7><A HREF="http://www.cs.unm.edu">Computer Science program</A> at the <!WA8><A HREF="http://www.unm.edu">University of New Mexico</A> (UNM) under Sandia's UniversityPart-Time (UPT) program. UPT allows me to attend classes and study for 20 hoursa week, work part-time for 20 hours a week, and remain a full-timeSandia employee. What a deal! I am scheduled to graduate in December 1997. A PhD in Computer Science is in my future, but so is a life ... <P>I live in Cedar Crest,<!WA9><A HREF="http://www.viva.com/nm/nmhome.html">New Mexico</A>, on a ridge at about 7100 feet with a great view of the east face of the<!WA10><A HREF="http://www.gorp.com/gorp/resource/US_National_Forest/nm_cibol.HTM">Sandia mountains</A>.I play<!WA11><A HREF="http://www.teleport.com/~jdimick/cg.html">classical guitar</A>, enjoy <!WA12><A HREF="http://www.gorp.com/gorp/activity/hiking.htm">hiking, camping</A>, and <!WA13><A HREF="http://www.gorp.com/gorp/activity/paddle.htm">whitewater canoeing</A>, spend far more time hacking <!WA14><A HREF="http://sunsite.unc.edu/mdw/">Linux</A> than I should,and only date women who run 32-bit operating systems. I have just started <!WA15><A HREF="http://users1.ee.net/wow/mountain.html">mountain biking</A> in order to get swimsuit-compatible for the summer.<P><!--I am also something of a composer, and specialize in works for mail-order musical instruments and resonant body cavities. When I lived in Idaho I was a member of a supremacist group, but they kicked me out because hey, nobody likes a supremacist with a self-image problem.
