WS96 is thefourth workshop in a series sponsored by the Department of Defense, the last one havingtaken place at the CLSP in the summer of 1995 and the previous two at Rutgers University inthe summers of 1993 and 1994. <p>I will be the student assistant for the team involved in the project:<!WA13><a href="http://www.clsp.jhu.edu/ws96/lidia/group.html">WS96 Non-local Dependency Modeling Group (A.
