I'm a Ph.D. candidate and Research Assistantin the <!WA3><a href="http://www.ccs.neu.edu/">College of Computer Science</a> at <!WA4><a href="http://www.neu.edu"> Northeastern University</a>. My advisor is Prof. Robert Futrelle, and I am a member of the <i>BiologicalKnowledge Laboratory</i>. I am currently working on my<!WA5><a href="file://www.ccs.neu.edu/home/nikos//amd/narnia/export/grads3/nikos/.www/abstract.ps"> Thesis</a>which I plan to finish soon. <!br line><!WA6><a href="http://www.neu.edu"> Northeastern</a>is also the place where I got my Masters degree (1991).<br> <br><p><!WA7><img align=bottom src="http://www.ccs.neu.edu/home/nikos/greek-flag-small.gif">I am from Greece and I have a B.S. in CS from<!WA8><a href="http://www.csd.uch.gr/default.html"> University of Crete</a> (1989). During my undergraduate studies I worked at the <i><!WA9><a href="http://www.forthnet.gr/">Foundation of Research and Technology - HELLAS</a></i>.<hr><h2>Research Interests :</h2><p>Syntactic Analysis of Visual Languages with special emphasis on <i>Diagram Analysis</i>.
