I am also interested in <!WA6><A HREF="http://www.cc.gatech.edu/computing/Architecture/arch.html"> Computer Architecture </A>, and <!WA7><A HREF="http://www.cc.gatech.edu/systems/"> Operating Systems </A>.For my thesis, I am interested inperformance and architectural issues for Time Warp simulations runningon shared memory multiprocessors. <p>Outside of my research I am active in organizing Indian classical music concerts. Recent concerts were Pt. Shiv Kumar Sharma in April 94, and Reenaand Rajeeb Chakraborty in Oct 94. Outdoor activities like hiking and campingattract me. I fix cars and like to cook.<p>I am graduating in Dec 96. Here is my <!WA8><A HREF="http://www.cc.gatech.edu/grads/p/Kiran.Panesar/resume.html">resume </A> and a recommendation letter. I am looking for industry jobs.<p>Meet my wife, <!WA9><A HREF = "http://www.cc.gatech.edu/grads/p/Kiran.Panesar/Ritu.gif"> Ritu </A><p> <HR><p><!WA10><A HREF="http://www.cc.gatech.edu/grads/p/Kiran.Panesar/India_latest.html"> Latest infomation</A> about Indian Classical music concerts, and other India Club activities at Georgia Tech.<br>Information about the local <!WA11><A HREF="http://www.cc.gatech.edu/grads/p/Kiran.Panesar/gurudwara.html"> Gurudwara</A>, temple of the Sikhs.<p><!WA12><A HREF="mailto:panesar@cc.gatech.edu"> Write to me </A><HR><B> Links to other pages: </B><BR><!WA13><A HREF="http://weber.u.washington.edu/~rkhare/uor/uorHome.html#top"> University of Roorkee </A> my alma mater. <BR> I went to <!WA14><A HREF="http://www.umbc.edu"> University of Maryland</A> for my masters in Computer Science.<p><!WA15><A HREF="http://www.prism.gatech.edu/~dsadmic/India.html" ALIGN=Middle>India Club</A> and SPICMACAYupcoming events, pointers to other www pages.<BR> <!WA16><AHREF="http://www.ifi.uio.no/~singh/chandigarh.html">Chandigarh</A> myhome town and<!WA17><A HREF="http://http.tamu.edu:8000/~ggr4499/html/"> India </A>. <BR> <HR><DL> <DT><H3> Current Research: </H3> <DD><STRONG> <!WA18><A Href="http://www.cc.gatech.edu/net/www/computing/Architecture/projects/pads.html"> Parallel and DistributedSimulation</A><DD></STRONG>My research is shared memory optimizations for high performance TimeWarp: efficient message passing, buffer management, and fastcontinuous GVT calculations for real time applications.<p><STRONG> Publications: </STRONG><p><!WA19><iMG SRC="http://www.cc.gatech.edu/general_images/blueball.gif"> <!WA20><A Href="file://ftp.cc.gatech.edu/pub/people/panesar/AISS-pads-96.ps.gz"> Automatic Incremental State Saving </A> With Darrin West, Tenth Workshop on Parallel and Distributed Simulation.
