Why it's a homepage for Francis Zane andDonna Bell (complete with a few images, for those who complainedendlessly about the prior version.) Yes, it's true - having long agorun out of space in our tiny apartment, we've overflowed online. So<em>welcome</em>, weary net traveller, to our virtual home.<p>Francis, for the unaware, is a fourth year graduate student in<!WA1><a href="http://www-cse.ucsd.edu/">Computer Science and Engineering</a> at <!WA2><ahref="http://www.ucsd.edu">UCSD</a>. He works with <!WA3><ahref="http://www-cse.ucsd.edu/users/paturi/">Mohan Paturi</a> on somecircuit complexity problems and with some folks in the <!WA4><ahref="http://www.ece.ucsd.edu/">ECE Department</a> on applicationsof optoelectronic computing.<p>Donna is also employed by UCSD, just down the hill at scenic <!WA5><ahref="http://sio.ucsd.edu/">Scripps Institute of Oceanography</a>.It is very curious, and not a little bit ironic, that a freckledredhead with an aversion to sunlight ended up in this sunnyparadise. Singlehandedly supporting the sunscreen industry, Donna haseven been dragged out to lunchtime beach volleyball practice. Newtwould be proud.<!WA6><img src="http://www-cse.ucsd.edu/users/francis/donna.gif" align=left width=210 vspace=2 alt=""><p>Together, harassed by San Diego's vicious climate, our heroesbattle against incredible odds, vanquish evil, enjoy music, take in alittle hiking, and practice <!WA7><a href="http://www.cnsii.com/dragon/">TaiChi</a>. (Well, the latter is one of Francis' accomplishments.
