I am involved in the <!WA18><!WA18><!WA18><!WA18><!WA18><!WA18><!WA18><!WA18><!WA18><!WA18><ahref="http://www.cs.washington.edu/research/projects/zpl/">ZPL</a>Compiler Project at the University of Washington.  Lately, I've beenspending most of my time thinking about optimized <!WA19><!WA19><!WA19><!WA19><!WA19><!WA19><!WA19><!WA19><!WA19><!WA19><ahref="http://www.cs.washington.edu/research/projects/zpl/papers/abstracts/comm.html">communicationgeneration</a> using the ZPL architechture-independent communicationlibrary, <!WA20><!WA20><!WA20><!WA20><!WA20><!WA20><!WA20><!WA20><!WA20><!WA20><ahref="http://www.cs.washington.edu/research/projects/zpl/papers/abstracts/ironman.html"><em>IRONMAN</em></a>.In addition, I am experimenting with simulating data parallel programson superscalar processors.  The goal of this work is to improve nodeperformance on the coming generations of parallel machines.  I've alsobeen seen hanging out with the <!WA21><!WA21><!WA21><!WA21><!WA21><!WA21><!WA21><!WA21><!WA21><!WA21><ahref="http://www.cs.washington.edu/research/projects/lis/chaos/www/chaos.html">Chaos</a>Router group.  I did a bit of work on the <!WA22><!WA22><!WA22><!WA22><!WA22><!WA22><!WA22><!WA22><!WA22><!WA22><ahref="http://www.cs.washington.edu/research/projects/lis/chaos/www/simulator.html">simulator</a>,including a graphical front end for visualization.  With thatexperience, I am currently implementing another router simulator inZPL.  Finally, I am also doing a little bit of <!WA23><!WA23><!WA23><!WA23><!WA23><!WA23><!WA23><!WA23><!WA23><!WA23><ahref=http://www.cs.washington.edu/homes/sungeun/astronomy.html>astronomy</a>.<p>This quarter, I am TAing <!WA24><!WA24><!WA24><!WA24><!WA24><!WA24><!WA24><!WA24><!WA24><!WA24><ahref="http://www.cs.washington.edu/education/courses/451/CurrentQuarter">CSE 451</a>.</td></tr><tr><td>I enjoy watching <!WA25><!WA25><!WA25><!WA25><!WA25><!WA25><!WA25><!WA25><!WA25><!WA25><ahref="http://www.uspan.com/events/movie-listings.html"> movies</a>,but mostly in the comfort of my own home.  I like to eat (oh yeah,I've been a <!WA26><!WA26><!WA26><!WA26><!WA26><!WA26><!WA26><!WA26><!WA26><!WA26><a href=" http://www.veg.org/veg/">vegetarian</a> since myjunior year in college) and drink (dinner would not be the samewithout a good <!WA27><!WA27><!WA27><!WA27><!WA27><!WA27><!WA27><!WA27><!WA27><!WA27><a href="http://reality.sgi.com/timt/vlib/wine.cgi">wine</a>.)  As a result, I must exercise quite a bit.  I play on two<!WA28><!WA28><!WA28><!WA28><!WA28><!WA28><!WA28><!WA28><!WA28><!WA28><a href="http://www.atm.ch.cam.ac.uk/sports/webs.html">soccer</a>teams: Cousin Scrubs (Co-Rec division 9A) and Cooper's (Co-Recdivision 2A).  Last season, the Scrubs came in second place (9B) andCooper's won their division (4B).  Unfortunately, I recently sacrifiedmy left knee for the game, and won't playing soccer or taking my usualstep <!WA29><!WA29><!WA29><!WA29><!WA29><!WA29><!WA29><!WA29><!WA29><!WA29><ahref="http://grove.ufl.edu/~evilgreg/aerobics.html">aerobics</a>class.  Instead, you may find me at the <!WA30><!WA30><!WA30><!WA30><!WA30><!WA30><!WA30><!WA30><!WA30><!WA30><ahref="http://weber.u.washington.edu/~ima/">IMA</a> trying to <!WA31><!WA31><!WA31><!WA31><!WA31><!WA31><!WA31><!WA31><!WA31><!WA31><ahref="http://www.swim2000.com">swim</a> and at a weight trainingclass.
