The last sequence shows mywork: how the computer can piece together some cartwheels, a jump, andshuffle into an animation without having the figure fall down andcollapse. The brown figure is using my algorithm, the orange figure isjust trying to to switch between motions without any consideration tosmoothness or physics.<p>Autumn '95 I took <!WA13><!WA13><!WA13><!WA13><a href="http://www.cs.washington.edu/education/courses/557/">557</a>and did the super-short animation,<!WA14><!WA14><!WA14><!WA14><a href="http://www.cs.washington.edu/homes/ausland/bug/bug.mpeg">"Bug"</a>(or try<!WA15><!WA15><!WA15><!WA15><a href="http://www.cs.washington.edu/homes/ausland/bug/bug_fast.mpeg">"this"</a>double speed small version)for my final project.<p>Until I find a better place for them, here are some <!WA16><!WA16><!WA16><!WA16><a href="http://www.cs.washington.edu/homes/ausland/590b/talk.html">slides</a> from thetalk on singular value decomposition I gave in the graphics seminar(590b). <p><address>ausland@cs.washington.edu</address>
