Rainier </a> in all its glory (but this is probably not a clearday, so <!WA13><!WA13><!WA13><!WA13><!WA13><!WA13><!WA13><!WA13><a href="http://www.cs.washington.edu/homes/rex/rainier.jpg">here's a nice color picture</a>). <h3>My Research</h3><p> <em> So what am I doing here? </em> <ul> <li> I'm developing the <!WA14><!WA14><!WA14><!WA14><!WA14><!WA14><!WA14><!WA14><a href="http://www.cs.washington.edu/homes/rex/wrm/wrm.html">Web-Based Repository Manager</a>, which is a programming toolkit for building multi-media consoles.<p><li> I'm constructing an image database as part of <!WA15><!WA15><!WA15><!WA15><!WA15><!WA15><!WA15><!WA15><AHREF="http://www1.biostr.washington.edu/BrainProject.html">aStructural Information Framework For Brain Mapping</A>.<p><li> We're building a knowledge base to support the <!WA16><!WA16><!WA16><!WA16><!WA16><!WA16><!WA16><!WA16><a href="http://www9.biostr.washington.edu/cgi-bin/dadefn?atlas:Neuroanatomy+ffpathIndex:Splash^Page+2"> Digital Anatomist</a>, an on-line interactive atlas of the human body.<p><li> I implemented a <!WA17><!WA17><!WA17><!WA17><!WA17><!WA17><!WA17><!WA17><ahref="http://www.cs.washington.edu/homes/rex/quals.ps">DatabaseEnvironment for Vision Research</a>.<p><li> I'm a local expert on <!WA18><!WA18><!WA18><!WA18><!WA18><!WA18><!WA18><!WA18><a href="http://www.cs.washington.edu/homes/rex/pp2/pp2.html"> persistentprogramming languages</a>. </ul> <p><h3>Interests</h3><p> <em> So what else am I doing here? </em><ul><li> I'm the proud creator of the <!WA19><!WA19><!WA19><!WA19><!WA19><!WA19><!WA19><!WA19><ahref="http://www.cs.washington.edu/homes/rex/rb">UW InternetRacquetball Ladder</a>.<li> I've taught <!WA20><!WA20><!WA20><!WA20><!WA20><!WA20><!WA20><!WA20><a href="http://www.cs.washington.edu/homes/rex/advc.html">Advanced C Programming</a> for the UW Extension <li> I wrote some perl scripts to manage a <!WA21><!WA21><!WA21><!WA21><!WA21><!WA21><!WA21><!WA21><ahref="http://www4.biostr.washington.edu:8080/fb/standings.html">rotisseriebaseball league</a>.
