We will survey someof the other operating systems discussed at the end of the book. Inaddition, to the book we will be going over  MS-DOS/Windows 3.1. Thiswill be available on IBM PC's on campus. We assume that you are very comfortable with C. You do not need to know Windows. <p>Generally, we will go over and add to the materialfrom the textbook. Problem sets will be handed out on Thursdays and will bedue in one or two weeks depending on their complexity.
