ieFix

Overview:

There is a bug in IE which prevents it from accessing a web server residing on the same device.
We've developed a fix to allow PIE to access vxWeb when they are on the same device.
Note:  This bug occurs with Pocket IE on the PocketPC.  Other devices do not have this problem.

Installing:

Copy the appropriate version of ieFix.exe for your processor to the PocketPC.

Operating:

Prior to running IE on the PocketPC (to access vxWeb on the same device) run ieFix.exe.

If you want to access your desktop via ActiveSync or run IE to access the internet you'll need
to run ieFix with the word 'quit' on the command line, i.e. ieFix.exe quit. Or you'll need
to reboot the PocketPC.

ieFix does not update any files on PocketPC.
