A. Schloegl, "EDF/GDF toolbox for the use with Matlab", University of Technology Graz, Ver 0.46, May 1999.This toolbox contains routines for reading and writing Biosignal data in EDF/GDF format. EDF can store only integer16 numbers. Hence one must be careful storing Matlab floating point numbers in this format. GDF supports char, signed and unsigned int8, int16, int32, signed int64, float32, float64 and bitN data types. Available files: gdfopen.m gdfclose.m gdfseek.m gdfrewind.m gdftell.m gdfread.m gdfwrite.m gdfcheck.m gdf.zip Win-zipped files gdf1.gdf 1 GDF test file, 8 channels having type int8, int16, int32, int64, float32, float64, bit12 and ubit1 (boolean) 10 records with 1s duration, 256Hz sampling rate, Header length is 256+8*256 = 2304 bytes 8*256=2048 samples per record, (1+2+4+8+4+8+3/2+1/8)*256=7328 bytes per record gives 75584 bytes total.
