The Track Log

When in moving map mode (real time tracking) the track can be automatically logged to a file
called "cetrack.plt". If track logging is turned on the file
"ceTrack.plt" will continue to grow in size so should be cleaned up from time to
time.

The track is also logged into memory and displayed on the map as a track tail
(only the last 1000 points are kept).

If you want to log your trip you should always use the automatic logging to
the "ceTrack.plt" file, do not use the track memory log as this only stores the
last 1000 points and is only intended for viewing the recent track history.

Note:

The complete track log "ceTrack.plt" can be saved to a new
file using the "Save Track Log File"

The screen (memory) track (1000 points maximum) can be saved to a file
using the "Save Track Log (Mem)" option on the File Menu.

The saved files can be loaded into one of the 5 available user tracks using the
Load Track button on the Track Toolbar.

Tracks created in the full PC OziExplorer can also be loaded into the
track log but only the last 1000 points will be kept. It would be better to
load these into one of the 5 user tracks (see above).

When using moving map mode the length of the track displayed will be equal to the
"Track tail" length set up in configuration. When not in moving map mode the
full length of the track will be displayed up to the limit of 1000 points.
