Release Notes - 'MMSMIDlet' MIDlet           (August 2005)

These notes are only intended as a brief guide for building and running
the example. A more detailed description about the design of this MIDlet
example has been provided as a separate document.


Compiling and running using eclipse
-----------------------------------
The preferred method is to use Eclipse with Nokia Developer's Suite 3.0 installed
as a plug-in. Choose "File"/"Import"/"Existing Project into Workspace" in
the top menu of Eclipse and browse to the MMSMIDlet folder. This will add
the project to your Workspace.

You may need to properly configure the Built Path in "Project"/"Properties"/
"Java Build Path"/"Libraries" to point to the right location of Nokia 
Prototype SDK 3.0

Then select file MMSMIDlet.java in the Package
Explorer and choose "Run"/"Run As"/"Nokia SDK" to compile and run the
application in emulator.

Compiling and running using Ant
-------------------------------
A build.xml file is included that uses the NDS ant tasks included
in Nokia Developer's Suite 3.0
It may be necessary to modify the location of NDS and the desired
emulator/device using the build.properties file

Check the Nokia Developer's Suite 3.0 documentation for more information
about the NDS' ant tasks

Known issues
------------
Sometimes the capture of image blocks when the user is prompted for permission
to do so
A workaround is to set the emulator to use the manufacturer permission domain
