Interfacing the DAC8811 to the MSP430F449

;The files contained in this archive are:

;1.) DAC8811.asm - assembly language file for IAR Embedded Workbench
;2.) msp430x44x.h - header file containing register definitions for the MSP430F449 device
;3.) Legal.asm - Texas Instruments Legal Disclaimer - Please Read!
;4.) readme.asm - this file

; Please create a dedicated project folder under your
; \IAR Systems\Embedded Workbench ;3.2\430\FET_Examples directory.
; This can be accomplished by opening the IAR Embedded Workbench environment
; and create a new workspace for the project by selecting on the menu "File - New - Workspace".
; Assign an appropriate name for the workspace (i.e. project file name with .eww extension)
; and create the project directoryif necessary. Extract all the files listed above in the project
; folder. The "MSP430x44x.h" need not be included if the project folder is created in the
; recommended path, as described here. Once the workspace is created, it will generate a
; window with the workspace name.
; Next is to click on the "Project - Create New Project" menu and and name the project
; (i.e. project file name with .ewp extension).
; Click on the "Project - Add Files" menu and select the *.asm file.
; Click on the "Project - Options" menu and select the "General" category.
; Select the MSP430F449 for target device.
; Select the "XLINK" category and click on the "Include" tab.
; Check on the "Ignore CSTARTUP in library" box.
; Select the "C-SPY" category and click on the "Setup" tab.
; Select "Flash Emulation Tool" from the driver drop down box.
; Click on "Flash Emulation Tool" tab and verify that the Parallel Port setting is correct.
