=== Evaluation Version ===

This software is an evaluation version and may be 
freely distributed provided that no files are modified.
There are no functional limitations. Registration is
$105 for email delivery, or $195 with source code.

=== Description ===

The MarshallSoft GPS Component (MGC) for Embedded 
Visual C/C++ (eVC) is a Win/CE DLL that allows any 
C/C++ program to receive and decode standard NMEA 183 
sentences from any GPS receiver connected to the 
RS232 serial port. Requires Microsoft's Embedded Tools.

Run the installation program SETUP.EXE which will
install all MGC4eVC files.

The following sub-directories (folders) are created:

APPS -- All example programs.
DLLS -- The DLL's for all supported platforms and CPU's.
COPY -- The DLL's to copy to your Win/CE machine.
DOCS -- All documentation.
LIBS -- The LIBS's for all supported platforms and CPU's.

No Windows system files are modified.

Documentation will be found in the DOCS directory
after running the SETUP installation program.

For more information, refer to the following manuals
each in 3 formats (*.TXT, *.DOC, and *.HTM):

(1) MGC_4eVC Programmer's Manual

  Covers eVC language issues.

  See MGC_4eVC.DOC, MGC_4eVC.HTM, or MGC_4eVC.TXT.

(2) MGC_VC User's Manual

  Covers theory of operation, application notes,
  and licensing.

(3) MGC_REF Reference Manual

  Lists details for each function in the library.
