Group</a> in Oxford.  I 
previously studied at Clare College, Cambridge and the Division of 
Informatics, Edinburgh.  I spent two years in London working on financial 
prediction, trading and valuation for hedge funds.

<li><b>Quantum Computing Functions for Matlab (QCF)</b>
<ul>
<li>QCF is a library of matlab functions for simulating quantum computing 
algorithms.  It includes simulations of the Deustch and Grover algorithms.
<li>Here is a short <a href="phd/qcf.doc">paper</a> giving an overview 
and tutorial of QCF.
<li>Please contact me if you would like a (free) copy of QCF.
<li><em>QCF syntax is based on the Neilsen & Chuang book.  I strongly recommend this book
for anyone interested in quantum computing.  I have handwritten solutions to many of
problems in the book, which I may be able to send you photocopies of if you are in need!

<li><b>Cambridge undergrad project: 'Genetic Music' </b>
<ul>
<li>MusicGenie is an algorithmic compution and genetic music program.  It 
uses L-systems to represent musical structures by fractal-like rules.  It 
allows rapid development of structural compositions - especially 
minimalist-style pieces - and allows rules from multiple compositions to 
be combined and evolved.

<li><b>Imperial College / Royal College of Art: Virtual Sculpture project</b> <ul>
<li><a href="rca/rca-brief.doc">Screenshots</a> from neural membrane.  This was part
of a NESTA collaborative project between an artist and scientists to produce
'virtual sculptures' on scientific themes. </ul>

This was developed at Cyberlife Technology as a student project.
