GENERALISED MATH OPERATORS--------------------------------------------

The package uses and includes portions of Generalized Operators for
Matlab, Copyright (C) 2003 by Aki Vehtari.  These are also distributed
under the GNU General Public License (version 2 or later).

The included version contains versions of these written in Matlab
programming language.  Due to restrictions of the Matlab language,
they are a little slow and use more memory than would be necessary.
The required functions can be easily replaced by more efficient MEX
implementations written by Douglas M. Schwarz and available e.g. at
http://www.lce.hut.fi/~ave/code/genops/.  After downloading the
package, the required gminus and gtimes functions can be compiled
following the instructions in the package.

Please refer to the demonstration script 'run_helix' and Matlab
documentation of function 'nlfa'.
