NAME
    lyxport - Export a Lyx or LaTeX file to HTML, PostScript and PDF.

SYNOPSIS
    lyxport [options] file

    Perl script which takes a LyX or TeX file as its only argument (with or
    without extension) and produces HTML, PostScript and PDF versions of the
    document. The name is short for "lyx export".

    Use `lyxport --help' for more information.

At a minimum lyxport needs Perl to run and latex for basic functionality (it
can be used as a convenient/automatic way of making PostScript from latex).
For full functionality you'll also need lyx, latex2html and pdflatex.

All these come standard in Linux Mandrake (and possibly other linux
distributions). If you are missing any piece of the puzzle, go to rpmfint.net
or use google for a few minutes. None of this is hard to find.

To install from the tarball (as root)

    make install

This will put the relevant files in /usr/local.  You can change this
destination by modifying the DESTDIR variable at the top of the Makefile.

To uninstall from the tarball (as root). 

    make uninstall
