Installation
------------

Unzip with -d to preserve subdirectories.

The complete PEG manual is available on our restricted-access web site,
with our other product documentation. If you do not have access, please
fill out the Registration form on our web site (www.smxinfo.com, then
click on Downloads in the navigation bar).

All demos run on Windows except the Unicode demo, which runs on SMX and
pmEasy. It must be run on a DOS machine (not the Windows DOS prompt).

  Note:  "Windows" means Windows 9x, ME, NT, 2000, XP, etc.


  WINDIAL.EXE     Animated PEG demo that runs under Windows and shows a
                  few dial guages.

  WINSTATN.EXE    Animated PEG demo that runs under Windows and shows a
                  nurse call station.

  WINROBOT.EXE    Animated PEG demo that runs under Windows in 256 color
                  mode.

  WINPEG.EXE      PEG demo that runs under Windows. The windows, controls
                  and behavior is so similar to Windows you'll forget
                  that PEG is handling the display, not Windows.

  DOSPEG.EXE      PEG demo that runs on DOS. Of course it can be run on
                  any machine, but it is most impressive if run on a
                  DOS-only machine to convince yourself that no Windows
                  services are being used.

  SMXPEG.EXE      PEG demo that runs on SMX. This demo will run on any
                  machine running DOS or better. Note that the demo does
                  not depend on DOS, but since it is in EXE format, DOS
                  is needed to load and start it.

  UNICODE.EXE     PEG demo that runs on SMX and pmEasy32 that shows PEG
                  Unicode support. This demo must be run on a DOS machine,
                  not a Windows command prompt. Also, attempting to run it
                  from a Windows boot to DOS is likely not to work on most
                  versions of Windows. pmEasy is bound to it and runs
                  automatically, so just run unicode.exe from the DOS prompt.
