   float cost_of_gasoline = 1.999;  // yours may be higher or lower
   float sales_tax = 0.06; // Most of Pennsylvania

   char soc_sec_no[13] = "999-99-9999";   // Not mine!  Remember to allow room for the null terminator

I'm sure you can think of a lot more!
