0. Before compiling, please read INSTALL !!!

1. The source comes with two srtp subdirectories. 
   srtp is newer but may not compile on older systems.
   renaming srtp-1.4 to srtp and using srtplib v1.4.0 
   will possibly help!

2. Speex is conditional code now. Default is active, 
   exclude it from compiling  with --enable-speex=no
   on the configure cmdline
   
3. The dialer kpsidial is new, it is still experimental 
   software. See the HOWTO for more information.
   
4. Presence is now based on RCF 3852 and RFC 3863. We do not
   support persence and event servers explicitely at this time.
   
5. the shell script kphoneringsh will substitute kphonering in future
