Pex means Picture EXplorer. Pex searches for image files into a specified
folder, and dislays thumbnails for each found image. Then, you can view images,
view image properties and delete them. You can set your own preferences about
the Pex look and behaviour.

Pex is a freeware written in C# for the Pocket PC platform. You need to have
the Microsoft .Net Compact Framework on your device to use Pex.

<P><a name="main-window"></a><b>Using the Pex Main Window</b><br>

Pex has toolbar where the most part of the buttons are active only when you have selected one thumbnail. All actions offered by the buttons are available by menu and context menu.

This button opens the <A href="pex.htm#folder-window">Change folder</A> window to change the current image folder. This option doesn't affect you preference settings. This option is also available with the menu "Options -> Change Folder...".

For the following buttons are allowed only if you have selected a thumbnail.

This button opens the <A href="pex.htm#viewer-window">Pex Viewer</A>. This action is also available by contextual menu "Open", menu "File -> Open" or double click on the thumbnail.

This button opens the <A href="pex.htm#properties-window">Pex Properties</A> window. This action is also available by contextual menu "Properties", menu "File -> Properties".

This button deletes the selected image from the Pocket PC memory. This action is also available by contextual menu "Delete", menu "File -> Delete". You must confirm your action in order to really delete the file.

<P><a name="viewer-window"></a><b>Using the Pex image viewer</b><br>

When you open an image (by menus or double click), Pex opens its view window. This window shows a toolbar containing the same buttons as the Windows XP image viewer. The image is displayed as your "Prefered view" settings.

Displays the previous image within the current selected folder.

Displays the next image within the current selected folder.

Displays the image to fit the screen size. If the image is smaller than the screen, it is expanded, compressed otherwise.
