Gcomm is a serial communications program similar to seyon, but more modern, and easier to use. Works

Bugs:
  Confirmer needs work; the 'dflt' argument is not working right.

  try to receive large binary file via modem pool
  when sent with sz.  (Works ok with zmodem)

  For some reason, gcomm and/or xterm (probably xterm) tries to send
	<esc>[?1;2c
  over and over again until remote gives up.  What is causing this
  behavior?  Problem occurs after offset 339a9

  Resume flag not accepted.

set initial value for baud button if known.
set inactive properly for transfer buttons, transfer options.
"resume" should not reject if exists.
"crc" condition doesn't work.
serial/pipe/ip to be redone as folder tabs
debug simple zmodem receive from peregrine (xfer.log)
cancelled transfers should restore tty (zmodem)
exit if can't open display
add break button
show buffer full conditions.

deactivate modem escape once connection made
test modem grabbing in all modes, when specified from command line
and from control panel.
