</dl><h2>DESCRIPTION</h2><dl><dd>
     tftp-put is a host-resident downloader for ASCII records. The
     records  to  be downloaded   are  taken  from  <i>infile</i>. This
     command uses the <a href="../udp.htm">UDP</a> protocol and requires a 
     TCP/IP stack and a
     <a href="../perl.htm">Perl5</a> interpreter. It performs the
     same function as the <i>put</i> function of the <i>tftp</i>
     command, and is useful for those hosts that do not have a tftp command
     (eg. Windows95).<p>
