    EMU8086  - THE MICROPROCESSOR EMULATOR
    
    
    Introduction
    ============
    
    emu8086 is the emulator of 8086 (Intel and AMD compatible) microprocessor 
    and integrated assembler with tutorials for beginners. 
    The emulator runs programs like the real microprocessor in step-by-step mode.
    It shows registers, memory, stack, variables and flags. 
    All memory values can be investigated and edited by a double click.
    The instructions can be executed back and forward.
    
    emu8086 can create a tiny operating system and write its binary code to
    a bootable floppy disk. The software package includes  several external virtual
    devices: robot, stepper motor, led display, and traffic lights intersection. 
    Virtually anyone with any programming experience can design 
    animated virtual devices in Java, C#, .Net, Visual Basic or 
    even in pure Assembly language (see simplest.asm in examples)
    
    
    SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS
    =====================
    
    Windows XP users must have administrative rights to install the software.
    
    1024 x 768 or greater screen resolution and about 10 Mb of hard disk is required.
    
    
    EMU8086 - MICROPROCESSOR EMULATOR LICENSING AND DISTRIBUTION
    ============================================================

    This software is intended for academic, commercial and personal purposes.
    It is not limited to any number of workstations.
    
    The Site License allows all students to use the software on university
    owned computers and allows them to install it on their personal computers.
    
    The software is limited to 90 days of free evaluation period, if you
    continue to use this software after the evaluation period you must
    purchase digital licence key from RegNow/A Digital River company.
